Bf109 G-5 headrest problem

In the assembly instructions for kit 1/72 and in the recent article by V. Sulc in 'Info Eduard' n.168, the G-5 is represented with the rear closure plate associated with the normal inclined headrest.
The tilted headrest does not appear in any of the G-5 images I have.
Has anyone seen any images that can confirm what Eduard says?
