Yak 1 & LaGG 3 Losses
I have obtained two data plates purported to be associated with the following:
Lagg 3 lost 16 November 1943 near Belaya, St. Petersburg. Is Belaya a region near St. Pertersburg? Yak 1 lost in 1941 near Shelogino, St. Petersburg. The plate identifies fighter werk no. 153. - is this werk located at Novosibirsk? Do these circumstances (types, places and dates) appear correct? Any and all additional information would be greatly appreciated. I will post photos of the plates if interested - let me know. Thank you, Steve
