Major Kitayev, 3 Eskadra, 3 Pulku LSz
Hi!
In the book on the Il-2, of the Profile Publications # 80, is mentioned a Major Kitayev, who served in the 3 Eskadra, 3 Pulku LSz. In the book is said that Kitayev and he wingman had sunk a 6.000 ton. German transport ship, and for this fact he gained the Gold Star. Which the complete name of Major Kitayev?
