Air Attack on Cardiff 29-30 Apr 41

I have that 25 aircraft attacked that night but no unit identified and also that a Ju 88 of 3 F)/122 was over Cardiff that night-can anyone confirm the unit involved (separate to the attack on Plymouth that night) and the fact that a lone Ju 88 was active that night. No mention in the Luftflotte 3 records and it would appear that the I./KG 28 and 3./KG 4 aircraft were lost attacking Plymouth so maybe Luftflotte 2 aircraft went to Cardiff

Hi Chris

The Flugbuch of Flugzeugführer Peter Schönauer shows that he attacked Cardiff on 29-30 April in Ju 88 4D+EL of 3./KG 30. Take-off from Eindhoven at 22:13, landing at 03:23.

Best wishes

Thanks Tim-what was his rank and any chance of a scan of that page (unless you have sent it me already!). Bit of a dangerous route all across UK to attack Cardiff!
