Travemünde, prewar (1930s)
Foto, Erprobungsstelle See, Flugzeug, Junkers & Einschwimmer, Travemünde, (H), a
Does this eBay caption interest ? It shows Junkers A 50 Junior D-1915 (that is still exists as OH-ABB, currently on loan in Dessau museum, last time I knew). What is in background is I think is very rare, at least never herd it happened. In background are four single-engine US Navy planes moored to boyo and shore. Two are coded "2/1" and "2/6" so I think the were from an USN warship (crusier or similar). http://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Erprobun...IAAOSwT~9Whsta And others from same seller, interesting collection (some seen before) but many labelled "Erprobungsstelle Travemunde" http://www.ebay.de/sch/m.html?_odkw=...=Flug&_sacat=0 -Ed Last edited by edNorth; 6th January 2016 at 22:10.
