Your first link contains a photo of a wheel(?) that looks like it is rusted. This could indicate a steel wheel. (A truck wheel is mentioned.)
Aircraft wheels are normally aluminum or magnesium and while they would corrode, it wouldn't look like rust.

Hello,
15/11/1940 -Childs,Stewart and Stott were with 30 Sqdn Blenheim L1120.
18/12/1940 -Tubberdy was with 30 Sqdn Blenheim L8462 "VT-X".
18/11/1940 - Hawksley, Bennett, Green, Palmer and Savage were with 70 Sqdn Wellington T2827.
18/11/1940 -Morgan was with Wellington T2734 (7/11/1940 DoW ?).
18/11/1940 - Ellam was with 70 Sqdn Wellington T2731.
18/11/1940, could not match Brooks to any of the above aircraft ?
4/3/1941 - Cullen of 80 Sqdn, could not find aircraft ?
16/03/1941 - Murrell and Newman were both with 37 Sqdn Wellington R1387.
20/10/1943 - Williams was with 148 Sqdn Halifax HR674.
1/2/1944 - Burle, Devine, Gardner, Potter, Stanley and Tennant were all with 624 Sqdn Halifax II, BB444.
19/3/1944 - Turner could not match to a 178 Sqdn aircraft ?
30/3/1944 - Waddell RAAF was with Spitfire Vc AR596 "GN-D".
22/10/1944 - Douglas could not match to a 1435 Flt aircraft ?

Hello Alex,
Perhaps you have this on F/L John George Douglas VR 146139 who was KIA on 22-10-44 with 1435sqn in Spitfire IX, MH647/V-M.
This brave pilot was buried at Phaleron War Cemetery, Access was bared by the communists until 1994 and it was found that the original burials had been moved to an unmarked communal grave under a footpath near the University of Tirana.
A very sad end to a tragic story.
