A Fw-190 D at Bad Aibling

Hello,

I see a Fw-190 D at Bad Aibling next left to a Bü-131 in this picture from Marc-André Haldimann's Flikr:

Please do you have some informations about this plane and some other pictures about it ?
From the floor for example ?

Thank you very much for you're answer.

Best regards,

Lumabe.

It's impossible to add a link.

The web server shows me that :

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Well you can see the picture from the flikr page of Marc-André Haldimann and after go to albums and Bad-Aibling.

I'm sorry for this problem.

Best regards,

Lumabe.

Re: A Fw-190 D at Bad Aibling

Hello there lumabe,

I made myself silly looking for this elusive D-9...and no chance. Here is the working link for my Bad Aibling album:

The secret to get this done: copy and paste the link, then cut out the beginning https://

Cheers
Marc

Hi there - I think he meant this one:

Ain't this "Red 2" of JV44?

Cheers,
Christian

Thanks Christian!

I was so intent on checking the horizontal pics that I totally missed that one. And yes, it rings a JV 44 Platzschutzstaffel bell

Cheers

Re: A Fw-190 D at Bad Aibling

Thank you very much for your help and your answer.

Do you know if Fw Bodo Dirschauer was the pilot of this plane ? The fith JV44 " Würger Staffel's pilot " ?

Eduard's scale model have a Fw-190 D-11 WNr: 2200?? " Red 2 " on his list option.

Best regards,

Lumabe

Re: A Fw-190 D at Bad Aibling

Hello,
Let me say that he is not on any roster of JV 44 pilots and when I asked Klaus Faber about him his reply was he had never heard of him.
Cheers, Jerry
