Lt. Echardt Roch, Lt. Hans Krug, II./JG 26 1940
I'm trying to identify an aircraft of 5./JG 26 circa 5/40, with a pilot standing next to it. I think that it must be Lt. Echardt Roch, who later in June, 1940, became Gr. Adj. of II./JG 26, until his death on 3.9.40 over England. Does anyone have a photo of this pilot from which I might confirm the identity of the individual in my photo?
Next, I'm trying to locate a source for a photo of "Black 5" of 5./JG 26, full right side with five victories, with pilot Hans Krug standing next to it. This has appeared on a German internet site. Can anyone help me locate a copy of this photo, or what the source for it might be? Thanx |
