Nose Art, Aircraft & Airmen of the 379th BG
I have started a website dedicated to the Nose Art, Aircraft & Airmen of the 379th BG. I have collected over 70 photos featuring Aircraft of the 379th. I will soon have a list of all the aircraft of the 379th and hopefully some information, data and photos.
Of course any and all assistance is encouraged and welcomed. Here is the address: https://sites.google.com/site/379thbgnoseart/ Also visit this tribute site to one tough old bird, the "Swamp Fire". She was the first heavy bomber to reach 100 missions without an abort Despite the battle damage. Swamp Fire was also selected to drop America's first flying bomb. On the Grapefruit Mission 28 May 1944. http://sites.google.com/site/swampfiresite/home Last edited by cody1947; 17th February 2011 at 02:35. |
