Goodmorning everyone. Can you tell me the identification code and W/number of the Ju88 A (12./KG 54) crashed in Italy on the 18 april 1942? Crew: Brasach Herbert, Withalm Otto, Eichhorn Rudolf and Stegmüller Walter.
Thank's. Elena

Re: Ju88 A (12./KG 54)

Hi,

I have WNr 2112 but I don't have the VbKz except the obvious B3+?Z. Furthermore I have the pilot's name as Brasas, not Brasach.

Rudi,
Thank you so much for your help. Your indications are precious and confirm my study on the German bomber. I have a debt to you

Per the KG54 history authored by Radtke, the pilot's name is Ofw. Herbert Brasach.

hi Jim,

On page 114 Radtke refers to the pilot's name as Brasas but on page 296 he writes it as Brasach.
There is no Brasach on the VDK's website for April 18th. However there is a Brasas that matches date and rank for that date on this website .
