Accoring to Radtke, who gives the wrong date 26th of April, they crossed the runway in the dark and were hit by a Ju 88.

Hi,

Can I confirm that they were hit by a plane while they were walking across the runway?

Yes, according to Radtke page 178 & 311 but he gives the date of 26th of April.
