Re: Wimpy

Adequate. Unfortunately the Wellington is such a big subject that one book is never going to do it. This one only just scratches the surface but if you are looking for a general type history it is fine

Re: Wimpy

Well I am glad that you at least find it adequate. Please remember that publishers can be quite prescriptive on page count in order to keep the cover price to an acceptable level. Fourteen months of intense research and many interviews with a good number of veterans went into this book. The remit was always to cover every aspect of the Wellington's service which of necessity therefore, means that there will always be room to say more.

Re: Wimpy

I thought it was quite good too though I'd like the publisher to know that Vol 1 and Vol 2 might have been a good idea, as I'd like to see at least 200 pages devoted to the T.10 which my father flew with 2 ANS and then 1 ANS, including MF628!!!!!

Re: Wimpy

Hello Larry,

Thank you, I am glad you liked it. I certainly had more than enough material for either a very much larger book or two volumes, but as I mentioned before, I was constrained by the publisher's wishes. However, you never know, a second volume just might happen....
