Crashes Belgium Bf110 on May 27th 1940

Hello to all!
I'm looking for info on two crashes of (probably) Bf110:
1. At DE PANNE (just on the French border in Belgium):during an airfight a german a.c. crashed on the end of the "Brouwerstreet" in front of some small fishermen houses which took fire. Some 20 people were killed. Plane burned out and crew was KIA.
2. At STEENKERKE a german a.c. crashed . 13 persons were killed among them some 6 or 7 Belgian soldiers from the
" 2nd Jagers te paard ".
Who knows more about these crashes?
Thanks n advance for your kind help !

Re: Crashes Belgium Bf110 on May 27th 1940

Hello Fred

For Steenkerke it was probably the 27/5/40 at 10 :10 shot down by a Defiant from 264Sqn
He-111 P 7./KG 51 (on the farm from Mr Bulcke Lodijk )
A/C completely destroyed as the farm and 6 Belgian soldiers killed
Gerfr Kassegger Alfred (KIA)
Gefr Bartelt Paul (KIA)---Lt Gild Rudolf (KIA)---Fw Göttlicher Alfred (MIA)---Uffz Kannewurf Heinz (MIA)

For De-Panne I have the same day and also a He-111 but without certitudes.
Regards
Phil

May 27,1940 Luftwaffe plane at Steenkerke

Hi,

Found some additional information regarding the crash at Steenkerke.

On 27/05/1940 a Luftwaffe plane crashed on the farm of Camiel Bulcke, situated close to the Korte-Wilde bridge at Steenkerke (near Veurne). The farm was completely destroyed and 9 civilians and 6 Belgian soldiers were killed.

See a photograph of the destroyed farm and plane :

Who can identify the plane ?

Many thanks in advance and best regards

Luc

7./KG51 Heinkel He111H. Shot down by Defiants of No. 264 Squadron during attack on Dunkirk and crashed at Steenkerke 12.30 p.m. Probably that claimed by F/L Cooke & Cpl Lippett, P/O Welch & LAC Hayden, and P/O Whitley & LAC Turner. FF Lt Rudolf Gild, BM Fw Alfred Göttlicher, BF Uffz Heinz Kannewurf, and BS Gefr Paul Bartelt all killed, BO Gefr Alfred Kassegger missing. Aircraft 100% write-off.
This aircraft crashed onto the farmhouse of Bulcke Lodijk killing all occupants including six Belgian soldiers of 2° Jagers Te Paard. Heinz Kannewurf rests among the ‘Unknown’ buried at Lommel.
