Liberator - America's Global Bomber/Allwyn T. Lloyd

Does the above book cover the Privateer? Is the book purely pictorial? Does it cover engineering aspects of the aircraft?

Re: Liberator - America's Global Bomber/Allwyn T. Lloyd

Hi,
very pictorial , about 30 pages for design and manufacture. The Privateer is seen and mentioned here and there. It's a large "general" book about the Liberator, which includes much on the world wide operational history. The pictures vary in size, 3 to 4 in some pages, 1 or 2 in others, also much on serial and block numbers.
I would consider it above average....

Thanks! In that case I think I am going to skip it. I prefer test reports and design memos to pictures.
