Please see below the Anlagen covering 3 Aug 1940. On the first page there is reference to the Do 17 at Schipol.

Hi,
3.8.40 I don`t know if this is a mistake but war diary mentions that 1 Do 17 of 5./NJG1 Duesseldorf was crash-landed and damaged (50%). Another Do 17 of 5./NJG1 Duesseldorf should be hit by a bomb and burned down (my other source says that this bombed Do 17 was from Luftflotte 2 reserve stock). So I`m confused. Regards Robert

Robert, the crashlanding occured on 2 august while the bombed aircraft incident occured on 3rd so there were apparently two incidents, one each on second respectively third of August. Busy days! This thread has confirmed it to me.
What source do you, if I may ask, have that attributes the aircraft to Lfl 2 reserve stock? An intersting piece of information.
