Hi,
When coming back from a mission during the night of 18/19.05.1943 he collided with the a/c of Lt. Alfred Meinke, 2600 m at 00:16 hrs. He and his RO Uffz. Kurt Müller were KIA in the ensueing crash. They were flying the Bf 110G-4,G9+AH, Werkenr. 6104. All this can be found in Michael Balss book about the Losses in the Deutsche Nachtjagd, Personalverluste. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Dirk |
