Uffz. Alfred Büthe on March 24 1945

Hallo,

I am looking for some information about Fw. Alfred Büthe. He should be shot down on March 24 1945 as member of JG 300. He should as well shot down at least five aircraft.

Does somebody know more about him? What was his fate? Was he on March 24 1945 dead or only wounded?

Thanks for help

Michal

Five western aircarft? That would be extremely rare if confirmed.

Where were his encounters?

Maybe here is some misunderstanding. He shot down 5 planes during whole time when he was fighter pilot, not during one day.

...if I recall correctly the authors of the JG 300 history have at least seventeen victories for Büthe. He enjoyed something of a reputation as a Mustang specialist. He died of his injuries after baling out on 24 Mar 45.
