Hi Jerry,

No joy with aircraft letter when with No.226 Sqn.

Regarding the loss when with No.142 Sqn the Movement Serial Index was AK523 (pointless I know!)

The Form E for the aircraft reads

A Form "E" Serial No 48
B 14/10
C A.K.523
D CC.37
E 142 SQDN Battle 1
F Nil
G Nil
H 4 x 250 2 x 25 Incendiary
J Nil
K None from enemy action but see M
L Nil
M AK523 unable to locate target owing to adverse weather:
A/C Crashed at Bampton after crew had abandoned. Crew unhurt.
N Nil
P 0555

Regards
Ross

Hi Ross,
Thanks for looking, It's probably one of the ones I will never solve, but I make a point at the start of each new year, to look at those long term problem ones I have.
cheers
Jerry
