22/23 Jan 1941 Sicily

Hi guys

I have seen a newspaper report that during a Wellington raid from Malta on the night of 22/23 January 1941 that 96 Luftwaffe personnel were killed at Catania or Syracuse when a munitions dump exploded.

Any substance?
