V1 Bombs
Hi Trevor.
I was at Duxford this weekend and they have two on show, i dont know if they are original or not but will be worth you contacting them if you have not already logged these. Also i saw a V1 at St Omer a few years back in the V2 storage bunker that is now a museum, again this i am sure you can get details on off the web or by emailing the museum direct. From what i remember it was a piloted version on display. Sorry i cant help with the details Jon |

Preserved V-1 bombs
Trevor, some guys have already done (maybe not by 100%?) what you want to do, but there is always a possibility to find something new, isn't it. Visit this site:
http://www.preservedaxisaircraft.com/ and look for Fieseler Fi 103. Another source could be the book of Peter W. Cohausz (in German) "Deutsche Flugzeuge bis 1945" - i have his address in Germany. I'm sure the net is also a good place for research. Have fun.

The National Air & Space Museum has a 'Loon' on display, the US Nvay copy of a V-1. It is at the Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles Airport and here's a link to info about it. It is indoors now, not outdoors as the photograph indicates.

Remaining V-1s
There was an original V-1 in the storage area of the War Museum of Canada, outside of Ottawa, which I measured for Tom Hitchcock and his monograph about the V-1. That would have been the late 70s or early 80s. As I recall, I also took photos of the beastie that I sent to Tom.
