Sgt W S Grieve - RCAF Fighter Pilot 1941-45

A bit of a shot in the dark but does anyone have any information on a Sgt William Smith Grieve (Smith being a middle name rather than a double barrelled surname) who was born on 19th April 1920 and served with the RCAF, service number 98065?
He joined the Air Force in March 1941 and it is possible that he served with 61 OTU in April 1942 so was a fighter pilot but any operational units are unknown although it is believed that he did crash at some point although the date and details are unknown but it is thought the crash happened in the Mediterranean theatre.
