Defiant N3378 255 Squadron
Hi guys
I've read on a website that Defiant N3378, which crashed in the Peak District at Bleaklow on 29 August 1941, may have been attacked by a Spitfire from 'the Durham area'. Can anyone throw any light on this incident? Cheers Brian

Hi Brian according to Air Britain RAF serials N3378 flew into hill in cloud on ferry flight near Glossop, Derbyshie, 29.8.41
