Superb.

I saw something like this a few years back on the news or some other programme. I'm sure someone done an R/C flying pig.

Maybe someone else remembers this.

Super Fly

It seems that now-a-days anything can be made to fly. A couple of years ago I was at a gathering of a radio control model airplane group and they had various odd planes including a twin engined F-22 with real jet engines. But the strangest thing was that they had a big (c 3 m wingspan) radio control ornithopter (mechanical bird) which could take off from a standing start it and made a loud buzz like a big fly. So I suggested that without excessive effort it could be reworked into a giant housefly The "Super Fly" ! It could cause panic so care would have to taken, especially near highways or crowds. What a bizarre sight that would be! I remember that some university in the U.S. had made a radio controlled pteradactyl (pre-historic flying lizard) which flew quite convincingly.
In any case its not something I would try, but its fun to think about.
