26 June 1943, Biscay : which Beaufighter unit was involved ?
Hello,
On 26 June 1943, over Biscay, at about 7h30, four Beaufighters attacked a Ju 88 belonging to a Wekusta unit. The Ju 88 was damaged but could get back to Biarritz airdrome, South West of France. One Beaufighter was hit in return fire from the Ju 88 and had to break the Beaufighters formation. I search any info about the involved Beaufighters, especially the damaged Beaufighter : unit, markings, forming of the crew, damage cat. ... Many thanks in advance Pierre

From what I remember, 248 Sqn but I will check when I get home
