Hi Stephane,
once more thanks a lot. Yet another question about 12.05.40 - did any French fighter unit lose aircraft in the vicinity of Tirlemont afternoon (14-16) or in the morning over Belgium? Regards Robert |

Re: French losses on 12.05.40
Hi Luc,
yes I want to know the type, time and place than the Germans claimed some Hurricanes in the morning around Brussel and afternoon in the vicinity of Tirlemont (Galland) and I think this were the French planes (perhaps MS-406 or CH-75 or even MB-152 were mistaken by the Germans with Hurricane). Warm regards Robert |

Re: French losses on 12.05.40
I'm not sure, but this loss can correspond to the claim of the 3./JG 21 on a Curtiss at 14.20 near Namur. There is only a half hour between the two events, and the sector is the same, the french fighters returned from Huy when they are been attacked.
