P-38 lost on 25/05/44
Hello
It seems that a P-38 (15th AF) was lost during the raid to Monfalcone/Piacenza What is his identity? (3 claimed by JG77 + 4 B-24 HSS) Michel |

P-38 42-104202 flown by 2nd Lt Richard L Fowler O-750564, (14th FG, 49th FS) MACR 5638 was shot down and Fowler was captured on that day.

It seems two lost:Fowler (pow) and Richard Pitner (belly landing after damage) and not one..... so two claims founded for JG77. Michel |
