I have always reservations when I see: "the complete story of...".
When talking of historical events, there are always information that pop up, which may (or may not) influence a particular story the way we know it.

I have the same reservations but apparently, some authors and publishers do not. I do hope this trend will end since unbiased historical accuracy and not leading buyers to think that after 'the complete story' that there is no more story or no more research to be done, and that the discovery of a diary or photos or similar may still add to the story.

Best,
Ed

Always glad to see a book published on such a little covered campaign .

Next up should be a book on the seldom looked at Battle of Britain.

...Battle of Britain? Wait until next year! I know already of one publisher who has commissioned THE book while the penny is dropping with TV companies

As a publisher has told me "if I see another book with Spitfire, Hurricane, finest hour etc......" Just you wait!

Because I have been permanently warped through repeated viewings of all things Monty Python and Blackadder, may I suggest the following title:

"The Finest Hour of the Spitfire and the Hurricane: The Complete Revised Secret Story of the Battle of Britain"

I'll get my coat...
