Very interesting. I find it humorous that all Luftwaffe aircraft preserved in Germany lack a certain national insignia on their tail units.

Which is why on eBay, such symbols are blocked out or the photo or seller risks being banned. Same applied to Airfix models when I was much younger

I believe it can legally be depicted in the context of writing about history (e.g. every issue of Luftwaffe im Focus).
