A/S/L Jack D Humphreys, DFC, + 2 August 194

Hi all!

Does anyone know any details about the death of A/S/L Jack D Humphreys, DFC, 605 Squadron, Service No 41419, who died on 2 August 1942? What was the cause of his loss? Also any details about his air victories would be of great help (date, type of e/c, location)…

Thanks.
