Books

Looking for copies of the following books, preferably in good condition and at a reasonable price to boot;

'Über allen Fronten' Chronik des Kampfgeschwaders 6 1941 - 1945 - Jan Horn

‘Kampfgeschwader 100 “Wiking” – Eine Geschichte aus Kriegstagebüchern, Dokumenten und Berichten 1934-1945’. Ulf Balke. (Motor Buch Verlag. 1981)

Any offers or pointers will be gratefully received.

Regards Richard.

Re: Books

There are a couple copies of the KG 100 book on abebooks.com for (what seem to me) reasonable prices.

KG 6 as well, but less reasonable.

Re: Books

What's the reasonable price for KG 6 book in your opinion?
As far as I remember, its MSRP was fairly high, around 80 euros.

Re: Books

No offense meant, Maciej. I have no idea what the price of the KG 6 book was when published.

All I meant was that I saw the KG 100 book in the $35-40 range (which I think quite good, and a bit less than I paid for it) whereas the the lowest price I saw for KG 6 was roughly double at $74.

Re: Books

SteveR, if you found the KG6 book for 74$ you should buy it. New price in Germany is 88€ = 96$

Re: Books

Too late! Somebody scooped it up last night.

About a week ago I got both volumes of Taghon's LG 1 history for $100, so I've had a recent bargain.

Or you could get the French editions new for 39€ (vol. 1) and 43€ (vol. 2) from Lela Presse.

And I'd say the latest French versions are better than the German ones - better paper quality, better quality images (and seems to be more), good quality colour profiles and more LG-1 related paperwork.
