Unknown WW2 Aircraft Part

Hi,

Can anyone positively Identify this aircraft part? Not sure what it is or the markings, there seems to be a date, but again not certain.

Please can anyone confirm if they can see the images. I am having issues adding images???

Thanks in advance

BR

What would be the reason for this, is it that I have not longed on for a given period?
