Junkers Ju 88 crashed 5. March 1945 near Ruhla/Ger.
On 5th March 1945 a Junkers Ju 88 crashed into a wooden area near Ruhla and exploded. The Serial was 622 815. We, the members of Arbeitsgruppe Vermisstenforschung, located the crashsite and found lots of Fragments. Eyewitness Reports stated that no parachutes were seen.
We Need help in identifying the aircraft and Crew. Thank you all so much for your help. |

Re: Junkers Ju 88 crashed 5. March 1945 near Ruhla/Ger.
That was an aircraft of I./NJG 5 which was abandoned by the crew near Brotterode due to engine problems. No unit code or crew names are listed in the report.
