IV/NJG 6, 10.09.43 (35%) FP Ramnicu-Sarat/RO, MSt./NL

10/09/1943; IV./NJG 6; Fl.Pl. Ramnicu/S(a)rat (Rumänien); Notlandung inf. Motorstörung; Bf 110 C-3; W.Nr. 2627; 35%; FF N.N.; Nachtjagd, RO; 0-0-0-2; (plane took off from) Zilistea

Bf 110 C, W. Nr. 2627, was originally a C-1, in the allocated block of W. Nr. 2619-2636 built by FW between September and November 1939.


It's reference to being a C-3 would stem from the fact that it likely had the upgraded MG-FF/M cannons fitted.

Thank you very much for the additional information guys, this specific machine appears on a list of former Luftwaffe aircraft found at Brasov airfield in July 1945 ! So, quite a survivor
