Unidentified pilot Normandy 1944
Hello,
in a book (Heimdal Album, 21. Panzer-Division), we see this German aviator recovered by german soldiers in Normandy during the summer of 1944. It is possible that it is east of Caen. Does anyone recognize this officer? He is not necessarily a fighter, but can be a twin engine pilot. Thanks for your help Fred |

Re: Unidentified pilot Normandy 1944
The fact that he is wearing his forage cap as do others in the photo might not indicate being "recovered"?
