Hitler's response to Illustrious escape?
Hi guys
Probably the wrong place to post this but ....... When the damaged aircraft carrier Illustrious escaped from Malta and safely reached Alexandria late January 1941, what was Hitler's response, do we know? I would imagine that a few heads rolled, but did they? I can't seem to find anything by Googling! Cheers Brian |
