Pawel Burchard is on a distinguished road
Two new Dornier 17 books

Dornier Do 17E-Z, Do 215B
Aircraft Photo Archive No. 03
Manfred Griehl, AirDOC 2005
ISBN 3-935687-42-7

Vom Original zum Modell: Dornier Do 17
Karl-Heinz Regnat, Bernard&Graefe Verlag 2005
ISBN 3-7637-6035-0

Received both yesterday - definitely not groundbreaking books.
Regnat - few new facts, virtually no new photos (most of photos are miniatures). Amount of reproductions from Handbücher. For seriously interested person it would be better to acquire originals from Archiv-Hafner.
Griehl - few new facts. Most of photos unpublished before but quality of reproduction could be better - Stammkennz. and Verbandskennz., save for W.Nr., hardly readable. Some interesting photographs of K.G. 2 Do 17Zs with MG-FF and various Do 17Zs with modified exhausts (without 'chimneys'). Interesting photos of nightfighters Do 17Z-7/10.

Kind regards,
Pawel
