Looking for Verlustmeldung I/KG. 54 11 May 1940
Who can help me with a copy of the Verlustmeldung of I./KG.54, 11 May 1940. The only info I have is the name of Fw. Willy Wosczyna 60026 KIA. 27 Quercus. |

Here are the details you requested: 3./KG54 Heinkel He111P-2. Shot down by flak and abandoned north-west of Aalst 2.00 p.m. Fw W. Wosczyna baled out but fell dead in Arkel polder. Oberlt K. Brand baled out and captured wounded. Uffz B. Blankenfuland and Gefr H. Boegel both baled out and captured unhurt. Aircraft a write-off. Thank you for solving another mystery.
