Is it WNr shown on the warck Bf109 ? Photo was made probably on 04/1945 Now this is near East board of Germany with Poland (near to Airfield Güstrow).

Perhaps this adjusted version will make things a little clearer:

Re: Late war photo Bf109 to ID
I think this is actually WNF-built Bf 109 G-6/U4, WNr. 440732.

Re: Late war photo Bf109 to ID
Hi Chris,
I concur with Steve. To my knowledge, no information is available about this particular plane possibly produced in March 1944. Clue for this date is the loss of sister ship W.Nr. 440 730 on 8 April 1944, flying with 4./JG 27, whilst W.Nr. 440 734 was lost 30 April 1944 flying with 5./JG 2. Cheers Marc |

Re: Late war photo Bf109 to ID
I agree with Steve. There were no Bf 109 6-digit WNr. the began as 448xxx. There was 440xxx, 441xxx and some 442xxx - WNr.442063 being the highest number of that last bunch I have.

Re: Late war photo Bf109 to ID
I agree, 442732 probably non-existing one, 440732 was with IV.EJG 1 on dec.44, so it seems he had problems later...IV.EJG 1 flew combat mission in the last months of war .

Re: Late war photo Bf109 to ID
Please see updated photo with number (above).
For me number is sure for: 44?732 Also Airfield Güstrow is sure. "...Airfield Güstrow (german: flugplatz Güstrow, fliegerhorst Güstrow or Fliegerhorst Bockhorst, ICAO: EDCU)is an airfield 160 kilometer northwest of Berlin, Germany. (...) In August of 1938 the first unit was stationed at the airfield, which became Pilot Training Regiment (german: Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment) 22 on 1 April 1939. The unit moved to Warsaw in September 1940, after which several other training units used the airfield. On 1 February 3./JG103 moved to the airfield, but they left for Neumünster on 1 March already. On 2 May 1945 the Red (Soviet) Army occupied the airfield, who reformed it into a firing range for Russian troops. ..." https://forgottenairfields.com/airfi...strow-332.html
