Industrie Schutz Staffel Focke Wulf
Sorted out the later Dr Alfred Price's photos, I have found a photo of Walter Nowotny with pilots from this staffel named as Hans Kampfmeier (+), Werner Finke (+), Rolf Mondry and Alfred Motsch. Anyone know any more about them and their successes or not?

Re: Industrie Schutz Staffel Focke Wulf
These guys were Focke Wulf Test pilots. There is a good write up on these pilots in the book "Focke Wulf Ta-152" by Dietmar Harman.

Re: Industrie Schutz Staffel Focke Wulf
Hello Chris,
some additional informations about the pilots of the Industrieschutzstaffel Focke-Wulf Bremen: Ofw Hans Kampmeier One victory (B-17) on 28 July 1943. He survived the war. Werner Finke He died in a landing accident, date not known to me. Ofw Rolf Mondry One victory (B-17) on 8 October 1943, flying Fw 190 A-4 WNr. 5631 black 3. On 9 March 1944 – attack of the 8th USAAF against airfield Langenhagen – he was wounded on the ground and lost one arm. Sources: JFV Vol.10/III Investigations of Dietmar Hermann / JET & PROP 2/2006. Re: Industrie Schutz Staffel Focke Wulf
Thanks Matti but according to Caldwell, that Mondry was Georg and the photo of him in the JG 26 War Diary bears no resemblance to the photo I have of him. Therefore the chap wounded 8 or 9 Mar 44 appears to match. The photo though does note that Kampmeier/Kampfmeier and Finke were killed. Nowotny is wearing the Schwerter so that dates the photo as late Summer 1943

Re: Industrie Schutz Staffel Focke Wulf
According to NVMs Lt Georg Mondry, * 15 Dec 1921, of 5./JG 26 was killed on 31 May, 1943.
Fw Rolf Mondry, * 09 Dec 1917, of 7./JG 26 was wounded on 05 April, 1942 and again on 08 March 1944. So, there were two Mondrys in JG 26. No info found on their fate. Matti Matti |
