RAAF Gloucester Meteor s/n A77-15 Korea 1951

This aircraft was delivered 19/02/51. It served in Korea with 77 Sqn.
Sqn Ldr Wilson was wounded in this aircraft 09/51 when cannon fragments entered the cockpit, however he managed to get the aircraft back to Kimpo.

On 06/02/52 whilst searching low level for F/Lt Hannan who was in A77-616, Sgt Phillip Zupp was hit by ground fire blowing off his canopy and inflicting injuries to his face. He was able to return to Kimpo and landed.

On 27/01/53 the aircraft failed to return after a ground attack mission after attack runs on two tunnels three miles East of Sinmak and was last seen climbing away from the target area.
Crew; FLGOFF Francis H G Booth. Struck off 18/03/53.

To RAAF 19th february 1951.Became A77-15
The name on the fuselage was ?

The name on the side of Gloster Meteor A77-15 is actually "Elyana".
