Just select the 'Digitalisat anzeigen' button (lower right) which will open the digitised images in a fresh tab. You can download from there.

Peter: He is not a member but I can forward an email to him if you PM me. The files are officers only I have been told and what they contain varies greatly

Yes, files at BA Freiburg are officers only. Lower ranks are at BA Berlin (previous DD).

The files at Berlin are not searchable. Perhaps in time as WASt (now BA-PA) is integrated more fully into the Bundesarchiv.
