Stab I./KG 51 1940
Were any aircraft from Stab I lost or damaged in the Battle of Britain? KG 51's record keeping of such appears to be lacking on detail!

Re: Stab I./KG 51 1940
Sorry Chris, not Battle of Britain, but the only loss I could find between June 1940 - June 1941 was this one:
5th June 1940. Stab I/KG51. Junkers Ju88A ( ). Sortie to Romorantin-Prunieres. Shot down by French fighters and belly-landed near l'Angelus at Presly, France, 2.00pm. Fw. Kurt Diekert (FF), Fw. Herbert Wagner (Bm), Uffz. Walter Krichbaum (Bf), Gefr. Werner Schindler (Bs) captured unhurt. Aircraft a write-off.
