Re: 630 Squadron RAF (...and in the morning...) (Volume 2)
Hello Ed and Bruce,
Thanks for replying ,unfortunately contacting the Publisher is in first place difficult. No website -No email ,but i can send them a letter for answering my question for it. In the night of 24/25 March Lancaster ND 657 was s/d by Ofw Rudolf Frank and came down in the moorland by Haren_ems close nearby the Dutch border. There was only one survivor F/sgt Tony Leyva ,he has written all details of this mission and what happend aboard on the time of the crash in a letter ,wich is in my possesion ,also some instrument switches and buttons wich were discoverd when the plane was discoverd by coincedence in mid 90,s during labour the moorland . If this story is in this book i am very please to buy it. The whole story is impressive and gives a vieuw of these brave man onboars this Lancaster . Is the story in the book ??? Kindly regards Harrie |
