Re: 22 OTU Info

Hello Keith,
Have you the correct serial number ?

Air Britains "HA100-HZ999" has the following for HF739.
Mk X - 1446 Flt/1 OADU/37/76 OTU - soc 10.1.46.
no mention of 22 OTU.

However,
Chorley in vol 7 of BCL OTU 1940-1947 has the following for -
Wellington III, DF739 - "DD-J".
22 OTU - 5th Dec 1943 - T/O Gaydon on night exercise, Crashed 0130 hrs landing at Base, caught fire. Sgt.J. Koresky RCAF inj.

Alex

Re: 22 OTU Info

I have the ORB. 3-4/9/43 does identify the aircraft as HF739. Crew as given by Col. T/o 2018, returned 2359. 7x500lbs. Target not given in ORB but is, as given, on bomb run photo of Sgt Gay's crew which is taped on a page.

Keith, PM me your email address and I'll send you the class photo of Course 47.

Dave
