In November 1941 there were 19 Audax on strength in the Middle East, classified still, somewhat optimistically, as Army Cooperation.

Re: I’d of Middle East HawkerHart/Audax

106 was still (ORB-wise) being reported in July ‘42.

"SR6", "106", K3028.

K3028, the "K File" has only the following -
Deld to HAD 3.4.33; 600 Sqn 26.4.34; 12 Sqn 3.10.35; to Aden 10.10.35 with Sqn; AD Aboukir; to SR Air Unit 24.5.40; SOC 1.12.43.

Re: I’d of Middle East HawkerHart/Audax

Thanks Alex

So should July 1942 be considered the last known date?
Do we have a starting date as well?

Cheers
Stig

According to the 162 ORB, on 4 February 1942 “One aircraft (Hart 106) collected from Heliopolis for squadron use”
