Uffz. Heino von DAVIER fate

Hi friends

I am looking all infos about Uffz. Heino von Davier, member of 1./JG 52. He was shot down on December 20th 1944 with Bf 109G-14 W.Nr.511889 "white 10" near Kaschau. Where is her grave? Is he still missing?

Thanks Franz

Re: Uffz. Heino von DAVIER fate

Franz,

The www.volksbund.de website says that the body of Heino von Davier could not be traced, so no burial has followed at the Hunkovce Sammelfriedhof (Slovakia).
Therefore only his name is written in the memorial book of this cemetery.

Website gives Vajkovice as place of death or where he went missing.

He was born on 1.1.1921 at Neumünster.

Regards,

Leendert

Re: Uffz. Heino von DAVIER fate

Hi

I refresh old themme.

On the page jg52net is writing that Davier was shot down by sowiet fighters on the north from Kraków in Poland.
(Aufschlag nördlich Krakau (PIqu.19194 Ost). Bf 109 G-14 Wnr. 511 889 “Weiße 10“.)
Leendert wrote that place of cras was wrote like Vajkovice. I suppouse that it could Wojkowice. It is in aproximatelly 20 km in the north of Katowice in Poland.
Strange for me is only that mentioned crash place is north of Krakow not north ot Katowice.
