Hello Michel,

on 11th March 1944 about 100 B-24s of the 15th AF, escorted by P-38s, bombed the harbour at Toulon. According to Jagdfliegerverbände Vol. 13/III 19 Bf 109s of JGr. Süd encountered this formation south of Toulon over sea. The 1./JGr. Süd lost one Bf 109, the wounded pilot was able to save himself by parachute. Another Bf 109 was damaged.
