In the losslist of: Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt.Nr....../40g.Kdos.(IC)H.Qu. den 12 Mai 1940,Flugzeugunfälle und Verluste bei den Verbänden am 10.05.40: 105)
1.(H)41, Feindflug, südwestl. Maastricht, Erdbeschuss, Hs 126. 1 Tote, Hptm. Dietrich (B) Two questions: What is the first name of Hptm. Dietrich and where is he burried in Belgium ?

BofF T&N has Lt R Dietrich killed by ground fire but returned. Why do you think he was buried in Belgium?

10 May 1940 1.(H)/41 Henschel Hs126B-1. Returned damaged by ground fire 10 km south-west of Maastricht. Pilot unhurt, BO Lt Richard Dietrich killed. Aircraft 10% damaged - repairable.
Official records state that he died in Reserve Hospital I at Cologne-Hohenlind as a result of a head wound caused by ground-fire. His grave is apparently not administered by the VDK.
