Was Uffz Kurt Tangermann of Stab II/JG54 the wingman for Major Erich Rudorffer? I was looking at the dogfight for the 03Jul44 at 07:06-07:10. Tangermann claimed 1 Il-2 and Rudorffer claimed 5 Il-2's.

Yes Tangermann was his wingman. At the time Rudorffer and most of the II/JG54 was part of the Gefechtsverband Kuhlmey at Immola, Finland.3 July, also the Finnish pilots were credited with a total ol 7 Il-2's.Russian sources indicate only 1 loss that day (872 ShAP), according to the book 'Finnish Air Force-1944'.
