Ju52 W. Nr. 6140 - Any info on this one?
Hey guys,
Curious if anyone has any info? Not sure if she was lost of scrapped...I suspect she survived the war. TIA |

Ju 52/3m WNr.6140 was Bernburg-built, and operating with the 1./KGr.z.b.V. 50 when it was damaged 40% on 25.June 1941 in a crash near Pasenow due to hitting obstruction. Oblt. Helmut Schwertfeger, and Beobachter Fw. Fritz Neumann were killed, 2. Beobachter Gefr. Heinz Ramig & Bf Gefr. Hüwer were injured.

Gentleman,
the german graves list listed as crash-síte Pacanów (Generalgouvernement). It's possible, that the german name for this village could be Pasenow in this time. Rüdiger |
